Today, listening to music and watching movies, is something every single person does, especially in their leisure time. Latest songs and movies are the hottest topic amongst family, colleagues and especially friends. Everyone has a different taste in the songs they listen to and the movies they like to watch.
For instance, my mom likes watching suspensive movies and one of my friend likes listening to Taylor Swift songs. On the other hand, one of my other friend likes watching romantic movies and I like listening to Hindi songs.
So, as I just mentioned about how everyone has a different taste in the kind of music they like to listen to, and the type of movie they like to watch, similarly I'm going to share my interest in music and film genre.( if you have read my very first blogs carefully, then you might have an idea what exactly my taste in music is)
Well, Talking about music first. Born in this generation, I am actually very very fond of old Hindi songs, like the songs belonging to the 1970s,1980s,1990s and sometimes even the early 2000s. I mostly enjoy listening to the songs sung by Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and many many more. I'm into the old gold times. Recently I have also gained some interest in old English songs and some new trendy songs which are all over social media.
Some of the english old and new songs i listen to very often are: Never Gonna Give You Up by Musical Youth, Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez, To Brazil by Vengaboys, Kill Bill by SZA and many many more. These days I have extensively been listening to the song 'Tum Se Hi' By Pritam and Mohit Chauhan. It's such a beautiful song and the lyrics are just beyond beautiful.
The movie this song belongs to, is also an all time blockbuster movie and one of my favourite movies of all time.(movie name: Jab We Met. Just in case you wanted to know;) ) Now, talking about movies. Most of us Usually watch movies in which our favourite actor/actress is casting. This was me a few years ago. I was a huge fan of Shahrukh Khan and I used to love watching his movies. DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAYENGE, KUCH KUCH HOTA HAI, KABHI KHUSHI KABHI GHAM, KAL HO NA HO are some of my very favourite movies of his. Just like songs, I am into old movies. I especially never miss out watching an old Hindi blockbuster movie.
For example, SHOLAY is one of my very favourite movies. Now, I watch most of the old hit movies. Recently, I have been watching Amir Khan's movies and I am loving his acting. One of my all time favourite actor is Amitabh Bachchan and his movies are divine. I even love watching English movies, new and old. The thing I love about English movies is the small portion of humour they add in the movie here and there.
So you see how, I'm totally into old gold things. Sometimes it makes me wonder how I ended up on Earth at this time, haha.. similarly you might have a totally different and maybe weird taste in music and movies, but that doesn't matter because everyone is different and different is what makes someone unique:)
